ISLAMABAD (February 11, 2013): Quaid-e-Azam University (QAU) Vice Chancellor (VC) Prof. Dr. Masoom Yasinzai inaugurated a 5-day National Workshop "Total Library Solution in Present Era" at Pakistan Scientific & Technological Information Centre ( PASTIC) National Centre, QAU Campus, Islamabad on Monday.

PASTIC, a subsidiary organization of Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF), Ministry of Science and Technology, organized the workshop to train the library and Information Science professionals in information handling and management techniques using Total Library Solution- a combination of many free and open source softwares. Librarians from different scientific organizations and higher educational institutions are participating in the workshop. A large number of scientists and students attended the inaugural ceremony of the training workshop.
