3-days Training on Scientific Image Processing using Adobe Photoshop organized by PASTIC

ISLAMABAD (February 27, 2012): A three days training course on the theme of "Scientific Image Processing using Adobe Photoshop" has been organized by IT Section of Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC), Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. The objective of the training is to develop skills in image processing specialized for professional involved in web development, printing and publication. Muhammad Khawar Mushtaq having 8 years of hand on experience of different multimedia tools was invited as a resource person.


PASTIC Director Ms Nageen Ainuddin inaugurated the training on Monday February 12. A number of scientists and researchers from PASTIC, Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) and Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) participated in the training course.


This seminar will help the participants in better understanding of web designing concepts and image processing techniques regarding science.
