3-days Scientific Digital Photography Training organized by PASTIC. 11-13 Jan 2012

Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad organized a three-day training course on the theme of ”Art of Scientific Digital Photography with Advanced features”. The objective of the training was to train the scientists in the field of digital photography for better representation of their research work through professional techniques. Mr. Maqsood Ahmed a senior photographer having 30 years of hands on experience in the field of scientific photography was invited as a resource person.


Director General, PASTIC, Dr. Khalil Ahmad Ibupoto inaugurated the training on January 11th . A number of scientists and researchers from Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC), Pakistan Museum of Natural History (PMNH) and Pakistan Science Foundation (PSF) participated in the training course. The participants learnt various facets of scientific photography in terms of fixed point and field photography. They practiced their learning about the subject in the field through group work. Certificates were distributed by the Director General on the Conclusion of the training.
