Islamabad, January 22, 2026 — Pakistan Science and Technology Information Centre (PASTIC), Islamabad organized a hybrid (onsite/online) webinar titled “Data Analytics with SPSS” on January 22, 2026. The event attracted over 85 participants from Pakistan and abroad, reflecting strong interest in practical data analysis skills among researchers and professionals.
During the webinar, Mr. Nabi Bux delivered an overview of the services offered by PASTIC. He highlighted key resources available through the PASTIC website, including access to scientific article databases, information on R&D projects, research equipment, and other related support services aimed at strengthening the national research ecosystem.
The technical session was led by Dr. Muhammad Usman, Data Science Specialist, who conducted an introductory presentation on SPSS. His session covered foundational concepts such as understanding data types, data manipulation techniques, and performing descriptive and inferential statistical analyses, supported by simple and illustrative examples to enhance participants’ understanding.
The webinar was conducted as part of PASTIC’s ongoing efforts to enhance research capacity and promote data-driven analysis among researchers and professionals.
