Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) is a premier organization in the country for collection and dissemination of Scientific & Technological Information for catering to the information needs of scientists, researchers, academicians, industrialists, entrepreneurs, planners, and policy makers, etc.

PASTIC Sub-Centre, Faisalabad in collaboration with ORIC-University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, organized Expo titled, “PASTIC-UAF STEM & IT Innovation Expo: Innovative Trends in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM) and IT" on November 25, 2021 at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, to showcase and exhibit innovative projects on STEM & IT by young researchers, engineers, technologists and manufacturers.

In the Expo, 50 organizations from Sindh, Southern and Central Punjab, (Hyderabad, Rahim Yar Khan, Multan, Islamabad and Faisalabad) participated and displayed their innovative projects and ideas, and discussed their modes and means with the visitors. A total of 300 projects were displayed at the ExhibitionCentre, University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF).

The Expo was inaugurated by Prof. Dr. Iqrar Ahmad Khan, Vice-Chancellor UAF, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, Director General PASTIC, Mr. Rana Fayyaz Ahmad, Vice President, Faisalabad Chamber of Commerce & Industry, and Mr. Ali Ahmad Sian, CEO Education. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, Director General PASTIC, distributed the certificates for participation to the exhibitors. Shields, cash awards and certificates were awarded to the project winners by Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Shaikh, DG PASTIC, Prof. Dr. Zahir Ahmad Zahir, Director ORIC and Mr. Ahmad Hassan, FCCI.
