PATIC Sub Center Lahore, Institute of Molecular Biology & Biotechnology (IMBB), the University of Lahore and FAST-National University of Computer & Emerging Sciences jointly organized a one-day workshop on ‘Citation Management by using Mendeley Software” on March 12, 2019. A total of 65 participants attended this workshop.

After recitation of Holy Quran, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Pro-Rector and Head of Department IMBB/CRiMM, presented the welcome note, in which he introduced IMBB, and highlighted its role in quality education, and role of Pakistan Science Foundation and PASTIC in capacity building of students and researchers.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Sheikh, Director General, PASTIC, introduced PASTIC services.He threw light on Mendeley software importance as a Research and Bibliographic Management Citation tool.

Chief Guest of the workshop Prof. Dr. Mujahid Kamran, Rector, The University of Lahore, shared the University’s contribution towards promotion of research culture at the University.

In Closing Session, shields and certificates were distributed among Resource Persons and Participants. Prof. Dr. Aamer M. Qazi, IMBB, The University of Lahore, thanked Mr. Nadeem Sohail, Manager Library, FAST-NU Lahore, Mr. Ali Raza Khan, Deputy Director (STI), PASTIC and IMBB management team, for their efforts.
