Islamabad, July 3, 2026: The Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Center (PASTIC), National Center, Islamabad, successfully organized a hybrid webinar on Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) on July 3, 2026. The event attracted 98 participants from universities, research organizations, and academic institutions across Pakistan, who joined through both onsite and online modes.
The webinar aimed to build participants' understanding of SPSS as a powerful statistical software widely used in research and data analysis. During the session, participants were introduced to the fundamentals of SPSS, its significance within the research methodology process, and its practical applications in organizing, managing, analyzing, and interpreting research data.
The resource person also highlighted the diverse range of statistical techniques and research tasks that can be performed using SPSS, enabling participants to gain valuable insights into selecting appropriate analytical methods for different research scenarios.
The webinar concluded with an engaging Question and Answer session, where participants discussed practical research challenges and explored the application of SPSS in addressing real-world research problems.
