ISESCO Prizes for Science and Technology, 2012

The Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization -ISESCO- is pleased to announce the launch of "ISESCO Prizes for Science and Technology, 2012". These prizes are awarded for outstanding innovative scientific contributions of socio-economic significance in the fields of biology, chemistry, geology, mathematics, physics and technology, undertaken by scientists and researchers in the Member States. The laureates of ISESCO Prizes will be recognized and awarded in a ceremony during the 6th Session of the Islamic Conference of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific research which will be held in Sudan, October 2012. Each prize consists of a reward of US$ 5000 and a Certificate.


You are kindly requested to announce the prizes to relevant institutions in your esteemed country, such as science academies, universities, research centers and scientific institutions (no more than two nominees in each field). Please notify that the closing date for nomination through the National Commission for ISESCO is 31st March 2012.
