PASTIC Services Stalls and Awareness Seminars are regularly organized in different universities to create awareness of anticipatory information services among the researchers and to provide services as per their needs within their premises. In this context PASTIC sub centre Peshawar organized PASTIC Services Seminar at ABASYN University Peshawar on July 21, 2010.

Welcome address was delivered the Ms. Zobia Afsheen, head of Microbiology Department. Ms. Ghazala Yasmeen Malik (Dy. Director PASTIC) delivered comprehensive presentation of the PASTIC S&T information Services. The presentation was designed to explain the young scholars about the PASTIC anticipatory S&T information services: a) to get access to their relevant bibliographic literature search by the keywords b) to avail document supply service at highly subsidized rates c) to utilize science reference library d) PASTIC publications.

At the end of the seminar a very effective question answer session was held where students and faculty members ask number of questions regarding PASTIC services. A total of 60 students along with four faculty members including the Head of Microbiology Department Ms. Zobia Afsheen, Dr. Bilal (Lecturer Microbiology Department), Mr. Naveed (Lecturer Microbiology Department) and Mr. Arshad (Lecturer Pharmacy department), ABASYN University, Peshawar attended the seminar. Seminar was end by vote of thanks by Head of the Microbiology Department.
