Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Centre (PASTIC) signed MoU with Digital Forensic Research and Service Centre, Lahore Garrison University on November 22, 2017 to create awareness and trainings in safety, responsibility, law enforcement and reporting to cyber incidents through promotion of digital forensics and cyber security at national level

PASTIC and LGU joint collaboration will also create job opportunities and will provide trained cyber security workforce to cope rising challenges.

It was also announced that PASTIC and LGU will create a national level committee to evaluate the vulnerabilities in the critical infrastructure of the country and will create a Computer Emergency Response Team to assist the public and private sector.
