A group of 30 students and three faculty members from the Department of Biochemistry, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad visited PASTIC National Centre, Islamabad on August 11, 2016. Mrs. Kausar Sohail gave an orientation lecture about PASTIC activities and services. She also gave a demonstration on how to carry out literature search using various databases.

Mr. Saifullah Azeem, Principal System Analyst delivered a detailed presentation on Scientific Information Searching Techniques. Young scholars highlighted different difficulties and posed questions faced during the literature search. These were catered to by the speaker.
PASTIC membership forms were also got filled and the students were registered as free members.
