Mr. Fazal Abbas Mekan, Secretary, MoST, Ministery of Science & Technology visited PASTIC on May 18, 2016. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf, Chairman, PSF and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Akram Sheikh, Director General, PASTIC/Member Science-PSF welcomed the Federal Secretary and took him around the various sections of PASTIC such as Library, IT Section, Reprography Section, Document Supply Section, Technology Information Section and Bibliographic Information Section.

Later, a meeting was held in the committee room of PASTIC with the senior officers. Director General, PASTIC delivered a detailed presentation on PASTIC. During the presentation, a detailed discussion was held on the activities being performed and services rendered by the PASTIC. Federal Secretary appreciated the services and activities being undertaken by PASTIC. Furthermore, he provided the guidelines for the improvement in the areas where there is a room for such improvement. He assured his cooperation for all the efforts to be put forth in this regard.
