Pakistan Scientific and Technological Information Center (PASTIC), a specialized organization for handling and dissemination of scientific information under Pakistan Science Foundation, PSF and Ministry of Science and Technology has organized a three days Training Workshop on "Research Tools and Techniques" from 18-20 February 2015 at PASTIC National Center, QAU Campus, Islamabad.

The main objective of the workshop was capacity building and skill development of data analysis and bibliographic management for the preparation of their dissertations or research papers using SPSS and EndNote. About 30 participants including faculty members, research scholars of MPHIL and PHD from different departments of QAU, AIOU, SZABIST, Bahria University have participated in the workshop. The Secretary General, Pakistan Academy of Sciences, Prof. Dr. Zabta Khan Shinwari was the Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the workshop.
