"Essential of Statistics with SPSS"

PASTIC Sub-Centre Karachi organized a two- day
training workshop on "Essential of Statistics with
SPSS” on August 27-28 2019, at PASTIC Sub-Centre
Karachi. 15 participants from various universities
including Hamdard University, Shah Abdul Latif
University Khairpur, Benazir Bhutto Shaheed
University Lyari, Mehran University of Engineering
& Technology Jamshoro, Department of Physiology,
Botany, Economics, Public Administration, KUBS,
and Sheikh Zayed Islamic Research Centre,
University of Karachi, attended the training
workshop.

Prof. Dr. Nazeer Khan and Ms. Sara Wahab,
Resource Persons from Jinnah Sindh Medical
University, delivered training on SPSS. In the
inaugural session, Deputy Director PASTIC Sub-
Centre Karachi, Mr. Abdul Fatah Shaikh, delivered a
detailed presentation (through PASTIC website) to
explain the perticipants about PASTIC activities.

Seminar on PASTIC S&T Services at
Department of Library Science, University
of Peshawar

PASTIC Sub-Centre Peshawar organized a PASTIC
Services Awareness Seminar on August 20, 2019, at
the department of Library Sciences, University of
Peshawar. 57 participants participated in the seminar
including Chairman, Dr. Liaqat Ali, faculty members
and final year students.

Whereas in the closing session of the workshop,
shield was presented to the Resource Person, and
certificates were distributed to the participants.

Workshop on ''Educational Research
Methods & Data Analysis using SPSS ''
at Aziz Fatima Nursing College Faisalabad

PASTIC Sub-Centre Faisalabad organized a two-day

training workshop on "Essential of Statistics with

SPSS” on August 6-7, 2019, at Aziz Fatima Nursing

College Faisalabad. 40 participants participated in

the workshop.

Dr. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal and Dr. Muhammad

Kashif, Department of Mathematics & Statistics,

University of Agriculture Faisalabad were the

Resource persons, who delivered training on SPSS.

40 participants participated in the workshop. Dr.

Noor Akbar Sial, CEO Aziz Fatimah Medical and

Dental College Faisalabad, was the Chief Guest and

Lt.Col. Zia-ul-Haq, Manager Admin & HR AFH was

the Guest of Honor during the closing ceremony. Mr.

Muhammad Hasnain, Deputy Director PASTIC

Faisalabad, and Mrs. Kaainat, Principal Aziz Fatima

Nursing College, were the Course Coordinators.
