Workshop on “Human Brain and Its Educational
Implications” at Govt New Model High School

PASTIC Sub Centre, Peshawar and Shaheed Benazir
Bhutto Women University, Peshawar jointly organized
one day hand's on training workshop titled:" MENDELEY
Reference Manager: Easy Referencing and Citation'' on
May 25, 2022 at Peshawar. Dr. Noreen Asim, Assistant
Professor, IBGE Agriculture University, Peshawar and
Ghazala Ali Khan Additional Director, PASTIC Peshawar
were the key resource person.

The training started with the recitation from the Holy
Quran. During technical Session-I Ghazala Ali Khan
delivered a detail presentation on PASTIC literature
resources for scientists and importance of MENDELEY.
In Technical Session-II Dr. Noreen Asim involved the
participant in practical training of MENDELEY with
topics including installation, collection of references,
creating & managing library, reading / writing and
collaborating with colleagues and friends.

Total 58 participants including young researchers, faculty
members and heads of department from Department of
Botany, Zoology and Physics attended the training.
Certificates and shields were distributed at the end of
training among resource persons participants and
organizers.

PASTIC Sub Centre, Faisalabad in collaboration with
District Education Authority Faisalabad, arranged one
day workshop on “Human Brain and Its Educational
Implications” on May 27, 2022 at Govt New Model High
School G.M. Abad Faisalabad. Total 70 participants
Including DEOs, Principals, Sr. Head Masters and
Science Teachers from the district participated in the
w o r k s h o p . D r . S h a f q a t H u s s a i n , A s s o c i a t e
Professor/Chairman Department of Education, GCU
Faisalabad, was the resource person and Mr. Ali Ahmad
Sian, Chief Executive, was the Chief Guest.
