PASTIC Sub-Centre Karachi organized an online
training Workshop on “SLiMS with New Features”
on April 8, 2021 at PASTIC Sub Centre Karachi. Total
100 Librarians / researchers of different universities
and R&D institutions from Sindh, Punjab, KPK &
Baluchistan participated in the workshop.

Sub-centre Karachi delivering presentation about

Features”
The Session was started with the recitation from the
Holy Quran, followed by welcome address by Ms.
Afsheen Tariq, Assistant Director (STI), PASTIC Sub
Centre Karachi. She delivered a detailed presentation
about PASTIC services and it's new S&T data Bases,
through PASTIC website.

Mr. Aijaz Akhter Ahmadani, Resource person,
delivering presentation during online training
workshop on “SLiMS with New Features”.
Mr. Aijaz Akhter Ahmadani, Librarian at A.R.G
Degree College, Razzakabad Karachi was the
Resource Person of the workshop. He delivered a
detail presentation about SLiMs.

PASTIC Sub-Centre Karachi organized an online
training workshop on “Research Ethics”onApril 13,
2021 at PASTIC Sub Centre Karachi. Total 100
researchers of different universities and R &D
Institutions from Sindh, Punjab, KPK and
Baluchistan participated in the workshop.

PASTIC Sub-center Faisalabad organized an online
seminar on“Online Research Literature Searching
(Where & How)'' at Ghazi University D.G.Khan on
April 28, 2021 at 11.00 am.
Total 100 participants (Researchers, PhD Students,
Faculty members and HODs) from Ghazi University
participated in the seminar. The session was started
with the recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by
welcome address by Mr. Muhammad Hasnain,
Deputy Director (STI), PASTIC Sub-center
Faisalabad.

Dr. Samiyah Tasleem, Resource Person, gave
presentation during services during online training
workshop on “Research Ethics”
Dr. Samiyah Tasleem, CEO, Pakistan Education and
Health Consultant Group, was the Resource Person
of the workshop. She delivered a detail presentation
about Research Ethics.
Mr. Saif Ullah Azeem, Principal System Analyst
PASTIC National Center Islamabad, was the
R e s o u r c e P e r s o n . H e d e l i v e r e d a d e t a i l e d
presentation on the seminar. Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ali
Tarrar, Director ORIC, Ghazi University, delivered
the vote of thanks to the participants, and appreciated
PASTIC efforts to hold a successful seminar.
